Pastor Mike and
Bernie Brinkmeier are extremely excited and honored about the opportunity they have been given to serve the community in the
Promise Land Area. As the Pastor of Promise Land Bible Church, I promise to serve the fellowship of believers
who call Promise Land Bible Church home to the best of my ability.
For
I desire and seek to serve my Lord Jesus Christ and His people; To share the Truth about Christ Jesus to all, in obedience
to His Word, so that His Kingdom might be enlarged and some might be saved.
For I believe and
teach that salvation is by grace alone, thru faith alone, in Christ alone, and that the Holy Scripture is our sole source
of authority for what we do and how we live, and that everything we do, should be done for the glory of God. This is commonly
called the 5 Solas of the Reformed Faith.
Mike and Bernie have moved to Arkansas from Northern
Illinois, from a small town called Freeport, where Mike has been a Teacher, Street Preacher, Church Planter, and a Pastor
for Grace Alone Christian Assembly.
Mike is a disabled US Army Veteran, who served from
1983 to 1993 as a 11C Infantry Mortarman. Today he struggles with what is commonly called Gulf War Illness from his exposure
to oil well fire smoke, and other agents while serving in the Gulf War.
Mike met his wife Bernie
in November of 1999 at a Bible study, by God's grace and providence the two were married on September 1st of 2000,
combining two families in to one. Today they celebrtate having six children and 7 grandchildren and all the joys that they
bring.

a church that affirms the sole authority of the Holy Scriptures for all of faith and practice, the pre-eminence of the preaching
of the Word of God, the glorious truths of salvation called the Doctrines of Grace, the necessity and responsibility of evangelism
and a serious approach to the joyful worship of God, then we warmly invite you to come and visit us.
